These Terms of Use govern your use of Yearweave, a private, manual year-planning app for iPhone. Please read them before using the app.
Acceptance
By downloading or using Yearweave, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The service
Yearweave is available for compatible devices running iOS 18 or later. It helps you create and keep full-day or multi-day life chapters, with optional notes, media, links, files, export features, and read-only calendar context. Features may change as the app evolves.
You are responsible for the content you add, the exports you share, and maintaining appropriate device and iCloud backups. Yearweave does not replace your own judgment, backup practices, calendar provider, or Apple services.
App Store purchases and subscriptions
Paid features are offered through Apple’s App Store. Prices, available products, billing periods, and localized purchase terms are shown by Apple before you complete a purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
If Apple offers a 14-day free trial for an eligible Yearweave subscription, the trial terms displayed by Apple apply. A trial is not offered unless Apple presents it for the selected product and Apple Account. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subscriptions renew automatically through Apple at the price and interval shown at purchase.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests and purchase processing are handled by Apple, subject to Apple’s policies.
Access after entitlement expiry
If a paid entitlement expires, Yearweave is designed to preserve read access and privacy-safe export access to content you already created. Features that create or edit premium content may require an active entitlement. Your content is not deleted merely because an entitlement ends.
Acceptable use
You may use Yearweave only lawfully and for its intended personal planning and record-keeping purposes. You must not:
- use the app to violate law or another person’s rights;
- attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer, or circumvent purchase, security, or technical controls except where law permits it;
- misrepresent Yearweave or use its name, artwork, or content in a way that suggests endorsement; or
- use the app in a manner that harms the app, its users, or Apple’s services.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yearweave is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device or service, or that data will never be lost. You should maintain your own backups and review exports before sharing them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or use arising from or related to Yearweave. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Yearweave in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Apple terms and EULA
Your use of Yearweave is also subject to Apple’s applicable terms, including the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. If these Terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA or other mandatory Apple terms, the applicable Apple terms prevail to the extent of the conflict.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be published here with its effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms, where permitted by law.
